Melted Savoy Cabbage with Herbs

  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 1 tbls oil
  • 1 small thinly sliced onion
  • 1 head Savoy cabbage cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 rap salt
  • 1 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tblsp finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
  • 1/8 tsp pepper



Step 1

Heat butter and oil on medium in 5-quary sauce pot. Add onion, cook 3 minutes, stirring. Stir in cabbage, water and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes until cabbage is very tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat stir in green onion, tarragon and pepper.
