Ingredients

  • 3 c. old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 c. all-bran cereal
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 t. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 t. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 t almond extract
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 c. dried apricots, sliced
  • 1/2 c packed golden raisins
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat he oven to 300 degrees. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, cereal, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the honey, maple syrup, almond extract, and oil. Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture and toss well to combine. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until lightly tosted, about 50-55 minutes.
Remove from the oven and stir in the apricots, raisins, and cranberries. Cool completely.
