Ingredients

  • q/2 water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups finely chopped pecans
  • Filling
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup hot fudge ice cream toppings. warmed

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water, butter, and salt to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the flour all at once. Stir briskly until the mixture leaves the side of the pan and forms a ball.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes to allow mixture to cool before adding the eggs. Continue adding the eggs and beating the mixture until its smooth and shiny.
Drop Dough 3 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake as directed. Bake for 30 minutes
Remove puffs from pan to a wire rack. Imedialely cute a slit in each puff to allow steam to escape. Cool. Split puffs and set tops aside. Remove soft dough from inside with a fork discard, Fill as directed.
