- 1 can ( 14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 tsp each garlic powder and salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 crusts Schwan's Starter Crusts (671)partially thawed
- 1 lb bulk italian seasoned sausage
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 pkg (3.5 oz)sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 medium red pepper, chopped
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Combine tomatoes, brown sugar, spices and olive oil in a small saucepan. Cover and simmer olive oil in small saucepan. Cover and simmer 25 - 30 minutes until tomatoes break down.
Place crust into ungreased 1- inch springform pan pushing crust up along sides.
Saute sausage and mushrooms. remove excess fat with a paper towl.
Layer crust with 1 cup mozzarella cheese, sausage and muchrooms, pepperoni, peppers and remianing cheese.
Top with second crust and pinch to seal edges. Cut several 1/2 inch slits on crust to vent.
Bake pizza 30 minutes. Top with sauce and bake an additonal 15-20 minutes. Allow pizza to rest 15 minutes before cutting.
