Ingredients

  • Fiesta Filling
  • (1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato and 1/4 cup finely chopped green chilies.)
  • Avocado Topping
  • (1 small avocado, cut up, 1/4 cup dairy sour cream, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce)
  • Beat all ingredients with whisk until smooth
  • 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/4 dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare Fiesta filling and Avocado Topping. Mix remaining ingredients. Shape mixture into 12 patties, each about 4 inches in diameter. Spread each of 6 patties with about 2 tablespoons filling within 1/2 inch of edge; top with a remaining patty and seal edge firmly.
Grill patties on a medium grill, turning once, until desired doneness, 5 to7 minutes on each side for medium. Serve with Avocado Topping. Serve in hamburger buns if desired.
