FANTASY FUDGE

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine or butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 2 ⁄ 3 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 7 ounces marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly.

Continue gently boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, stir in chocolate until melted. Add marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla.

Beat until blended.

Pour into greased 13-inch-by-9-inch baking pan.

Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares.
