Italian Sausage Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mild Ital sausage, cut in 1" pieces
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 10-oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, drained
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella
  • 2/3 c ricotta
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 t black pepper
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 pkg ref pie crust
  • 1 egg slightly beaten with 1 T water

Preparation

Step 1

Hat oven to 375. Line 9" pie plate with 1 crust. Brown sausage. In large bowl, combine first nine ingredients. Spoon mixture into prepared crust. Top with remaining curst; seal edges, vent top. Brush with egg/water mixture. Bake 1 hr, 15 min. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
