- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 large onions
- mushrooms
- blue cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Step 1
Sautee the onions in butter for about 30 mins - you want them to kind of turn brown. I sautee the mushrooms separately and add them to the sauce because of the liquid. Add the cream and then the mushrooms and turn heat to low. Let simmer for about 10 mins - then add blue cheese (you adjust to your taste). Salt and pepper if you want. Very important not to let the sauce heat on a high temperature as the cream will separate and you will have to start all over again
