Ingredients

  • 2 lbs round steak, cut into 3/4 in cubes
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 Tbl oil
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped)
  • 6 oz can mushrooms and broth
  • small can steak/mushroom gravy
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Step 1

Roll meat in flour, brown in oil
Remove meat from pan, add onions, garlic and mushrooms
Cook gently until onions are golden;
Add meat and remaining ingredients - cook until thickened and bubbly
Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour or until meat is tender
Cook about 2 hours at low temperature in electric skillet
