Ingredients
- 1 pkg. German Chocolate Cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1-14 oz. pkg. wrapped caramels
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Unwrap caramels and melt with evaporated milk. Combine cake mix with butter and follow mixing directions on box. Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until middle puffs and is gooey. Pour caramel/milk mixture on baked layer. Top with nuts and chocolate chips. Pour remaining batter over top and spread. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
