  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil


Servings 8


Step 1

Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir. Then combine all the wet ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and whisk together. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry thoroughly. Grease a 9 X 13 pie dish with butter preferably, but any non-stick spray will do. Bake at 425 degrees Farenheit for 25 minutes.
