White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

I've heard about this combination and was curious. I'm looking forward to trying this on pumpkin bread or even red velvet cake.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz. bakers white chocolate
  • 12 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 6 oz. unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

1- In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate for 1 or 2 minutes. Using the whisk stir the chocolate until completely smooth and no lumps are visible. Let cool for 5 minutes.

2- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with the mixer on high until smooth.

3- Gradually beat in the melted chocolate into the cream cheese until well incorporated.

4- Add the unsalted butter to the cream cheese mixture beating until smooth. Then add lemon juice and beat for 1 or 2 more minutes.
