Ingredients
- 4 - 6oz. Tilapia Fillets
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1/8 Tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- 1/8 Tsp Garlic Pepper Seasoning
- 2 Tbs Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Crack egg in a bowl and whisk with a fork. Add lemon pepper seasoning and garlic pepper seasoning to egg wash.
Grind almonds in a food processor and then mix in parmesan cheese. Pour coating mixture onto a large plate
Melt butter in a skillet on medium high heat
Dip the tilapia in the egg wash and then dredge in the almond mixture, pressing it firmly into the mixture and evenly coating both sides.
Cook the tilapia until it is a nice golden brown on both sides. 3-4 minutes on each side is usually perfect. Be careful not too flip the tilapia too many times as the breading will come off
