Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. soda
- 1/2 t. cream of tartar
- 2 t. vanilla extract
- 1 t. almond extract
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 t. almond extract
- food coloring as desired.
Preparation
Step 1
Cream Shortening, margarine, sugar, and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients (flour, salt, soda, tartar)
Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla and almond extract last.
Roll out, bake at 325 for 10-12 minutes
Cool on wire rack.
