LIGHT BAKED CHICKEN (L.F.)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. instant mashed potato flakes
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. garlic power
  • 1/8 t. black pepper
  • 2 t. reduced fat margarine spresd, divided

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse chicken in cold water. Drain but do not dry. Spray 9"x13" pan with pam. In plastic bag, combine the potato flakes, salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Place 1 piece of chicken in the bag with the seasoned potato flakes and shake until coated. Place the chicken in the pan. Repeat with the rest of the chicken. Place 1/2 t. margarine spread on top of each chicken breast. Bake, uncovered for 40 minutes At 375 F. unitl chicken is done.
