Crusted Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to oven 250 degrees
2. With electric mixer, beat egg white and water until frothy; add pecans and stir until all pecans are covered by the egg whites.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients then add to the pecan mixture.
4. On a 15 and 1/2 x 10 and 1/2 x 1 inch cookie sheet, bake for 1 hour. Turn every 15 minutes. This will make them crusty on all sides.
