Soft Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 2 c b sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1 c molasses
  • 2 T ginger
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t b soda
  • 1/4 to 1/2 t cayenne pepper(to your taste)
  • 1/4 C COLD WATER
  • 2 T B POWDER
  • 4 C FLOUR

Preparation

Step 1

CHILL DOUGH. FORM INTO WALNUT SIZE BALLS AND DIP TOP INTO SUGAR. BAKE 400 FOR 10 MINUTES ONLY. LEAVE SET ON COOKIE SHEET FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN REMOVE TO COOLING RACK.
THESE COOKIES WILL SEEM NOT QUITE COOKED WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OUT OF OVEN. IF COOKED ANY LONGER AND THEY WILL BE HARD
