Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons lard or drippings
  • 3 cans (8ounces each) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (6 ounce) tomato paste
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon basil
  • ¼ teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef and onion in lard or drippings. Pour off drippings. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce. Cover tightly and cook slowly 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot spaghetti.
