Ingredients

  • 4 quarts popcorn
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly til bubbles form around the edges. Cook 5 more minutes. Remove from heat stir in baking soda. Pour over popcorn til evenly coated and bake for 1 hour at 200, stirring constantly.
