Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) pear halves in juice, undrained
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 2 c. (frozen and thawed OR fresh) blueberries
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/3 c. skim milk
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 T. cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Drain the pears and chop, saving 3/4 c. liquid.
Combine 3 T. sugar and cornstarch in medium pan, stirring while adding pear juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook one minute.
Remove from heat, stir in chopped pears and blueberries. Pour in 8-inch baking dish, greased.

Combine flour, 1 T. sugar and baking powder in a bowl, stir. Add milk to moisten. Drop by tablespoons over fruit mixture. Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes

Serve with ice cream or whipped topping
