Boursin Cheese Grits

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup quick grits
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 5.2 oz of Boursin cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese/ grated
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1/2 cup milk



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*
Bring water to a boil and add grits and salt.
Reduce to a simmer and cover for 5 minutes or until thick.
Remove from heat and add garlic cheese, butter and 3/4 cup cheddar?
In a separate bowl mix egg and milk and add to grits.
Pour into a casserole add remaining cheese and bake for 1 hour.

I have omitted the baking process and done it on the stove top for a quick breakfast side and it still very good.
