Special K Bars

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup light Karo syrup
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 6 cups Special K cereal
• 1 pkg butterscotch chips
• 1 pkg milk chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Bring sugar and syrup almost to a boil. Add peanut butter and stir until mixed in. Put Special K into a large bowl and quickly stir in hot peanut butter mixture. Grease 9x13 pan. Press mixture lightly into the pan. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together. Spread over bars. Cut bars when topping has set, approximately 6 hours.
