Route 66 Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. red potatoes, cleaned and quartered
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Market Day A Salt For All Seasonings
  • 1/2 cup mil, warmed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons market Day California Coast Blend
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 3 slices cooked and crumbled pre-cooked bacon strips

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes in 1 quart water until fork tender (about 30 minutes); drain. Mash potatoes. In small microwave-safe bowl, combine mil, butter and seasonings. cook for 30 seconds or until butter is almost melted. Add warm milk mixture and sour cream to potatoes. Mash slightly and top with cooked and crumbled bacon.
