Gingery Berry and Oat Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 c frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 c plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 c ice
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1/4 t grated fresh ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Place water and oats in a blender. Let soak until the oats have softened, about 15 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth and frothy.
