Ingredients
- Cake layer:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Fruit layer
- fresh or frozen unsweetened fruit of choice-apples, peaches, berries, apricots, plums, etc.
- Topping
- 1/4 c melted butter
- 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 3/4 c sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Blend flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and butter in a large bowl.
Stir in milk, eggs, and vanilla.
Spread in a well greased jelly roll pan (17x11x1").
Cover with fruit of choice.
Combine topping ingredients until crumbly.
Sprinkle over fruit and bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
Yields: 40 squares.
