Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli (copycat)

  • 6-10 cups o canola oil for frying (small amount for smaller pan)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Progresso Italian style breadcrumbs
  • 12 premade beef raviolis (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan
  • 1 container marinara sauce heated for dipping

Step 1

Heat oil to 325 degrees. In shallow bowl combine the egg and milk and beat. In another shallow bowl pour the bread crumbs. Bread the ravioli by dipping in egg mixture and then into the breadcrumbs. Arrange the breaded ravioli on a plate and let them sit for 5 minutes so that breadcrumbs stick. When ready drop ravioli into the oil and fry for 1-2 minutes or until they're golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on rack or paper towel lined plate. Arrange of plate and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top. Serve with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
