Ingredients
- 2 1/2 sticks 2 1/2 sticks softened margerine
- 3/4 c 3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 1 1 egg
- 1 tsp 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c 1 1/2 c flour
- 1 tsp 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp 1 tsp ground cinnamin
- 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 c 3 c Quaker oats uncooked

Step 1
Heat oven to 375
beat margerine and sugars till creamy
beat in egg & vanilla
add combined flour, baking soda, salt & spices - mix well
stir in oats
drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie ungreased sheet
bake 8-9 min for crisp cookie
cool 1 min on sheet
remove to wire rack
