Lemon Cream cheese frosting

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temp
  • 6 oz cream cheese, room temp
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 c grated lemon zest (1-2 lemons)

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter and cream cheese together until very light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and lemon zest, beat on med-high for 2-3 minutes until very fluffy.
