Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes (28oz)
- 1 large can tomatoe paste (14oz)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 large container cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1/2 cup parmasean cheese
- 1 large pkg (400g) mozzerella cheese
- oven ready lasagna noodles
- 1/2 cup parmasean cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef, drain fat. In saucepan add beef, diced tomatoes, tomatoe paste, garlic powder, oregano and basil. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
In separate bowl:
Stir cottage cheese and 1/2 cup parmasean cheese.
Set aside enough sauce to cover top of lasagna. Approximately 2 cups and 1/2 cup mozzerella cheese.
Alternate layers.
Sauce, noodles, cottage cheese mixture, mozzerella cheese, sauce, noodles etc.
It makes 3 layers.
Spread reserved meat sauce over last layer of noodles, then mozzerella, then 1/2 cup of parmasean cheese.
Bake covered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove foil and bake until cheese is melted and browned (15min). Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before cutting.
