Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce container of strawberry or raspberry low-fat yogurt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. frozen (slightly thawed) whole strawberries
  • 1 banana, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Put the yogurt, milk and powdered sugar in the blender. Cover blender with lid and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until mixture is smooth.

Add half of the strawberries (1 cup) to the yogurt mixture. Cover blender with lid, and blend on high speed for one minute. Add the rest of the strawberries and the banana, cover with lid and bled on high speed for one minute or longer until mixture is smooth.

Pour smoothie into tall 16 oz. glasses. Serve right away.

Makes two 16 oz. servings.
