Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 t. baking soda
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 1 c. canned or fresh pumpkin
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 T. butter
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine pumpkin, sugar, buttermilk and egg in mixing bowl. Add dry ingredients and butter. Beat until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread in greased loaf pan. Bake 350* for 1 hour.
Can double the recipe and bake in 7 baby loaf pans for 40 minutes.
