Ingredients
- caramel sauce:
- 4 teaspoons of baking soda
- ½ cup of boiling water
- ¼ cup soft butter
- ¼ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of marmalade
- 4 yellow of eggs beaten
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 4 white of eggs
- 4 beaten yellows of eggs
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 1 cup of water
- ½ cup of butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
1. Grease a pudding mold and sprinkle with sugar.
2. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add soft butter until melted.
3. Add sugar, marmalade, yellows, and flour and mix well.
4. Beat whites until firm and incorporate to the sugar mixture.
5. Pour in the pudding mold. Cover with foil.
6. Put in a pan, which is half filled with hot water.
7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
8. While baking, prepare the sauce by mixing yellows, sugar, water and butter.
9. Cook slowly stirring and boil for 1 minute.
10. Take off and add vanilla
