Ingredients
- 2Cups2 Cups flour
- 2Tablespoons2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1cup1 cup cold butter
- FILLING
- 2cups2 cups sugar
- 4teaspoons4 teaspoons flour
- 1/2teaspoon1/2 teaspoon salt
- 66 egg yolks beaten
- 2teaspoon2 teaspoon dried orange peel
- 1cup1 cup sour cream
- 5cups5 cups sliced rhubarb
- MERINGUE
- 66 egg whites
- 1/2teaspoon1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 12Tablespoons12 Tablespoons sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min
Cool on wire rack while preparing filling
In a bowl combine, sugar, flour salt and orange peel Stir in egg yolks and sour cream add rhubarb. Pour over crust
Bake 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until set
In a mixing bowl beat egg whites and cream of tartar on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar a Tablespoon at a time until stiff peaks form, beat in vanilla.
Spread over hot filling
Bake for 12-15 minutes 350 degrees or until golden brown
Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving
Refrigerate leftovers
