Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, Softened
  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Cream Of Tartar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tsp Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar, butter, shortening, and eggs in large bowl. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls.

Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in mixture. Place about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
