Navy Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. navy beans
  • 3-4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 3-4 carrots, chopped
  • 2 ham hocks or 2 cups chopped ham
  • 2 medium onions, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Pick over beans and wash. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Turn off and let set for 1 hour. Add ham, celery, onions and carrots and simmer until beans are tender.
