Spicy Wine Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs. stew beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 3 pkgs. brown gravy mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup dry red wine
  • 6 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 3 tsps. worcestershire sauce
  • 3/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 medium red potatoes
  • carrotts
  • parsnips

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper; place in slow- cooking pot; place vegetables; combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cook on low 8-10 hours.
