Ingredients
- DONUTS:
- 1 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted or butter
- 2 tablespoons SF syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- PEANUT BUTTER ICING:
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk
- 2-3 teaspoon Splenda
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease your donut pan with coconut oil.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients. Transfer to the blender.
In the same bowl, whisk together all of the wet ingredients. Add to the blender.
Blend the batter until is very smooth. Pour into greased donut molds, filling them about 2/3 of the way.
Bake for 12 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE or they will be dry. Remove the donut pans from the oven, allow to cool in the pan for 3 minutes, then pop them out and allow them to cool the rest of the way on a rack. Make your frosting in the meantime.
