Toffee Crunch Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

  • Base:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • Top:
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg Skor Toffee Bits

Preparation

Step 1

Oven 350F
Grease 13 x 9

Base: Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press evenly into pan. Bake 15-20 min until light golden.

Top: Heat condensed milk and butter in pan over med/low heat. Stir constantly for 5-10 minutes or until thick. Spread over base. Bake 12-15 minutes longer until golden brown.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top evenly. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes longer until chocolate is soft and shiny. Remove from oven. Spread chocolate evenly. Sprinkle toffee bits on top, pressing lightly into chocolate. Cool completely before cutting. If necessary, chill before cutting.
