Ingredients

  • 10 c. Hard wheat-grind it in a mill and make the flour.
  • 6 c. HOT water
  • 2/3 c. Oil
  • 2/3 c. Honey
  • 2 Tbsp dough enhancer
  • 2 Tbsp wheat gluten (if old wheat)
  • 1/8 c. Salt (2 Tbsp)
  • 1/8 c. Yeast (heaping)
  • 2 Tbsp tofu drink mix (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Put hot water in mixer. Add 8 cups of flour, oil, honey, dough enhancer, wheat gluten (only if old wheat), salt, yeast, tofu drink mix, in the mixer and mix. Add last 2 cups of flour. Add more if dough is not correct consistency. Knead in mixer for 11-12 minutes. Put 1 Tbsp oil on counter and spread around. Out dough in counter. Roll into ball and cover. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Put into 5 greased pans and let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-32 minutes. Freezes well.
