  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c. Warm water
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp coarse salt or sesame seeds



Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In large mixing bowl stir together 1 c. Of the flour and the salt. Measure 3/4 c water and add the yeast, sugar and oil. Let it set a couple of minutes to dissolve yeast. Pour the water mixture he to the flour bowl. Mix with electric mixer until combined (about a minute) stir in the rest of the flour with a spoon until you have a soft dough. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cut the dough into 12-16 equal pieces and roll into smooth long ropes.
