Ingredients
- 1 package (2 1/4 tsp) dry yeast
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 cup dry milk
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup chicken fat
- 2 cups stock
- 5 1/2 cup white wheat flour
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups cracked wheat flour
- 1/2 - 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup soybean meal
Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in water and sugar
Add stock, milk, eggs and chicken fat
Pour liquids into dry
Knead into shifted flour
Roll out on floured board into 1/4 or 1/2 inch thickness
Using knife or cookie cutter cut into desired shape
Bake on teflon sheets for 45" at 300 degrees
Turn off heat and leave in over overnight to harden
