Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

Always the standby favorite

Ingredients

• 1 c butter softened
• 3/4 c brown sugar
• 3/4 c sugar
• 1 t vanilla
• 1 egg
• 2 c + 4T unsifted flour
• 1 t baking soda
• 1 t salt
• 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add 1 egg and beat. Mix together dry ingredients and add slowly to wet ingredients until incorporated. mix in chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 until barely cooked (for soft cookies) or longer for firmer cookes. Devour.
