Brushetta

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. xtra virgin olive oil
  • 1 loaf italian bread, sliced to 1"
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Lg ripe tomatoes-salted and diced
  • 1 tsp. balsalmic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh basil
  • 2 tsp. minced red onion

Preparation

Step 1

Mix oil, garlic and salt. Brush bread slices with oil. Sprinkle with pepper. Bake for moments. Mix tomatoes, vinegar, basil, onion and oil mix. Top bread with mix. Serve warm.
