  • 1 cup butter or margarine -- softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 egg
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, chilled
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or bundt pan. Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Beat in eggs, mixing well, then add sour cream and vanilla. Stir baking soda, baking powder and flour together then mix into batter. Combine all streusel ingredients in small bowl and mix with pastry blender until coarse crumbs. Transfer half of batter to pan. Add half of the streusel. Add remaining batter and then remaining streusel. Bake until wood pick comes out clean, 60 to 65 minutes. Cool 5 minutes then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
