Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 t vanilla

Step 1
Scald milk. In 3 qt saucepan melt butter and brown sugar over med heat. Stir til smooth. Add flour slowly blend well Add scalded milk to mixture slowly, whisk til smooth. Cook 5 mins more, stirring often to keep from sticking.
Separate eggs yolks in a mixing bowl, whites in another. Beat yolks and 3 T sugar together til smooth and creamy.
Pour small amount of milk mixture over yolk mixture, stir til smooth and well blended. Add yolk mixture to milk mixture. Continue cooking til thick and smooth. Remove from heat add vanilla stir well. Pour pudding into pie shell. Cover with meringue. Bake in slow oven 300 deg 15-20 mins.
