Sock-It-To-Me Cake

Ingredients

  • Streusel Filling:
  • 2 T reserved cake mix
  • 2 T b. sugar
  • 1 C finely chopped pecans
  • Cake:
  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines Moist Delixe Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix, divided
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 1/3 C oil
  • 1/4 water
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • Glaze:
  • 1 C p. sugar
  • 1-2 T milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat over to 375 degrees. Grease and flour bundt pan.
2. For streusel filling, combine 2 T dry cake mix, b. sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Stir in pecans. Set aside.
3. For cake, combine remaining cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oilk, water and sugar in bowl. Beat at medium speed for 2 min. Pour 2/3 of batter into pan. Sprinkle with streusel filling. Spoon remaining batter evenly over filling.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 25 min. Invert onto serving plate. Cool completely.
5. Combine p. sugar and milk in small bowl. Stir until smooth and drizzle over cake.
