Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1/4 C + 2t cornstarch
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 1/2 T butter
  • 3 C milk
  • 1 C creamy peanut butter
  • 9 " chocolate pie crust
  • Meringue topping

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar cornstarch and salt in heavy saucepan , stir well. Combine yolks and milk gradually stir into sugar mixture. Cook over med heat stir constantly. Bring to thicken and boil. Boil 1 minute remove from heat. Add butter and peanut butter, stir til mixed pour into pie crust Top with meringue. Bake 350 deg for 10-12 mins. Top with chocolate shavings.
