Ingredients
- 1 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- ¼ cup instant nonfat dried milk
- 2 Tblsps sugar
- 4 tsps baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup vegetable oil.
Preparation
Step 1
Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Combine flour, cornmeal, instant milk, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium-size bowl; stir to mix well.
Beat egg slightly in a medium-size bowl. Add water and oil, beating until blended. Stir into cornmeal mixture. Beat by hand just until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
