- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup canned pure pumpkin
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine -- melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Grease 12 standard muffin-pan cups
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, spice, and salt. In medium bowl, whisk milk, pumpkin, sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs until blended; stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into muffin cups; sprinkle with pecans. Bake 25 minutes. Serve warm
