Ingredients
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 bag (14 oz) flaked coconut
- 1/4 cup wheat germ (optional)
- 6 tbsp maple syrup
- 6 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup dried fruit
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix together oats, almonds, coconut, wheat germ.
In a small bowl, whisk together syrup, sugar, oil, water, salt.
Pour liquid mixture into large bowl and stir to coat the oat mixture.
Pour granola onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring several times.
Remove from heat and add dried fruit.
